Why arb doesn't already have a version that has that is side gear is anybody's guess.

If you don't get it from this then I'm out as well.

We are saying just using the Vitara differential and put new grooves in the side gear of the actual differential. That will allow the stock gv axle and cvs to fit. That is literally the only difference stopping them fitting.

I get the machining the inner of the gear part and yep that sorts out the rhs cv part.

But when I tried to resemble my front the lhs half shaft was to long and was fouling on the centre crosspin with still about 1/2" to go before seating home

There actually isn't. There isn't a commercial case for this product or it would already exist.

No news. Joes design has been sold to Uneek4x4. Pester them if you want a CAP locker.

Unfortunately the majority of coily (or even sierra) owners in general are to tight to spend a grand or so on an airlocker, then chromos and powersteer so it actually can steer reliably.

Exactly. I think everyone forgets With some machining it's possible to fit a jimny airlocker to a coil Sierra so its possible to have an airlocker right now. There's just almost no actual demand.

Even after putting an air locker in the front of a coily, you would probably need chromo shafts and cvs too from ADD/tanshi.
As i dont know how well the coily front end will hold up being locked, and sourcing spares will be difficult.

Wouldn't be much change from $3000 after the ARB airlocker, chromo shafts and cvs, and install.

^this. Its damn near impossible to find a spare front centre. If you are driving things that require a front locker you will need chromos. And then i wonder about the shock/radius mounts tearing off the housing.

I believe overkill was offering it. It was a machined jimny front locker. It was mentioned on outers back in the day and wasn't an experiment- it worked fine.

You'll still be left with 22 spline axles though, which brings us back to the whole custom/cost thing, and a lack of real interest.

I only have a $26 budget. Can I buy your modified airlocker and custom axles second hand?
How much lift will I need to run 33's with this setup?
Will it give me hektik flex?

Definitely dragging up and old post, Currently own a coily and wanting to go twin locked whats the best way to go about it, rear locker is easy as ARB sell an air locker but whats the best way to get an air locker in the front as there isn't much online and this is about all I could find. Cheers
