Out of curiosity, are the genuine suzuki brand filters the only good one? Because Repco (my local outlet) doesn't sell them :(

In My opinion, Yes !
No they wont sell them, you will have to go to a Suzuki parts Centre, they have come down in price a fair whack, and are only $16 now... here is some part numbers if you need them, just scroll down a bit -
http://www.suzistore.com.au/onlinestore ... 91745.html

One more thing, do you have to get the filters shipped to you from that site? Because then the total price would be over $26

I would think any Suzuki Parts/Service Centre would have them in stock... but they may add their cut as well... some people bulk order from them, as the ship parts OZ wide, to save on postage... at least you know what you will pay for parts, at the counter with them... :D

i found this http://www.troublecodes.net/suzuki/ and this http://www.rhinopower.org/diag/cel.html both showing fault 52 as injectors

Yeah, that's true.

Btw. I Just picked up my O2 Sensors from bursons and they only have one wire coming from them and they have a circular style connector. Unless im look at the wrong part on my car, my O2 sensors have 4 wires and a square connector? Did they give me the wrong part?

wrong part, sounds like they are early G16b ones.

single wire is non heated, 4 wire is a heated o2 sensor.

The single wired one i bought was $83 each. Turns out the 4 wired ones are $153 each, i almost thought Bursons was cheaper than everywhere else.

Actually, what is your opinion on Universal ones where you have to wire the plugs on your self? Is it easy enough for me to do and will they work just as good? Because they seem to be a lot cheaper, here look: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Universa ... 8a3&_uhb=1

Sorry I missed the question, at work at the moment & in my phone... Will try & remember to reply later.

Typically the universal ones don't last as long + they're fiddley to cut & shut using the adaptor thingo.

I just tried to take out my O2 sensors. And it seems like they are seized, because I cannot for the life of me get them to budge. The whole engine moves when I try to loosen them. Any tips out how i could get them out, I don't wanna be stuck with brand new O2 sensors that i can't put in. By the way, the car has been sitting for 4 hours, and is cold.

Inox or similar over night, bit of impact on the spanner when you next attack them.

I doubt heat cycling would do much good on something that's bolted to the exhaust...

I was reading up on seized O2 sensors and they were all pretty much saying either run the car till it's hot, or put a torch to it. You don't think this could help?

well yeah, soak it in something will work as well. do you have a speed sensor socket (SSS)? or are you just using a spanner? tried double spannering?

these are SSS's http://www.ebay.com/itm/ASTRO-PNEUMATIC ... 1930981%26

p.s i know its not a speed sensor that your trying to remove, but it may still get the job done.

I looked at those sockets, i don't have any, and didn't see a great need to buy a set for one job. Im going down to supercheap auto so maybe they will sell just one of them. I am using a spanner at the moment, what is double spannering? Also, i have sprayed around the O2 sensor with super releasing agent.

Ohh, i didn't know that was called double spanner. Well I have tried everything, heating it, releasing agent, and getting a 1 meter long pipe for leverage, and all i have done is stripped the nut slightly.

How much do i have to pay someone to get this out for me? It is actually killing me.

take the o2 sensor and your car to exhaust shop, they should be able to crack them for you & fit them... NFI on the cost as every shop charges a different rate + they might be a bitch & take a while.

So after about 2 or so hours of trying to get out the RHS O2 sensor, i thought i would try get out the LHS sensor, withing 3 minutes the sensor was out. Literally, the hardest part of the whole ordeal was fitting my had down there. Beats me why this sensor was practically loose, whereas the other one has seized up like you wouldn't beleive. Anyway, i thought i would post a photo of the Old left hand side sensor (Bank 1 i beleive), just to show you the condition of it. In my opinion it doesn't look too bad, but im not too sure what they are supposed to look like after 150,000kms

EDIT: Actually, the hardest part was taking the extractors shield off, I broke the thread off on one of the bolts. Looks like the shield is now going to be held on my 2 nuts :/

Left O2 sensor is the New one.

Doesn't look broken like my car says it is?

Also, am i supposed to notice ANYTHING after putting in the new O2 sensors. I put in my new one, and still have the old on in on the RHS, but i notice absolutely nothing. No sound differences, no power differences. Does it increase the performance of the car? Or does it simply give you better fuel economy without feeling it?
Im confused.

 Are you serious???

It's a sensor, the inside bits get lazy... You should notice better economy, it's a tuning device used to trim the fuel load when required.
