hi i am looking at geting an rebuild kit as i have got an noterh transfer case, as the one i have now is leackign oil and very bad whine to it .
but what i want to know is this ( here )kit going to have all the stuff i need and is it an good kit

What you probably want to do is pull down the spare case that you have and see what parts in there need replacging. Bearings and seals are the main parts that will wear, but you also want to check the condition of the counter shaft, and the needle roller bearings that run on the counter shaft. There are also thrust washers that sit at each end of the counter shaft.
Have a look at this attachment, it's from the Trail Gear web site and is an excellent guide to pulling down and reassembling a transfer case.

thx ,that was what i was planing on doing is to rebuild the spare case and then when it is all good put it in the 4x4

just pulled the t.case down and most of it looks fine ,so now with the kit i linked to in my op would that be all i need to put it back to gether

thats a pretty good price for that kit too $159 inc shipping.
I paid pretty much that getting it all separately, most of it at trade prices too...

yeah mate that was all I used so unless somethings broken in your case that shouls be all you need.
