Anything is possible subject to what your engineer will approve.

How much work are you willing to do, how much power and torque do you need to do the job you need to do and if you’re not paying someone to do the conversion, are you familiar with this sort of job?

G13 and g16 is effectively the same conversion. (As in the same amount of work) there are many, many other engines that have been made to fit but the critical choice is the gearbox. The gearbox choice will basically determine how much of the rest of the car needs to be changed to suit.
