Could any of you wonderful people tell me if the lj80 and the one litre camshaft are the same.Thanks in advance for any help.

They are not the same, the difference is in where the front cam seal runs. LJ80s have a bolt on seal housing that spaces it out, SJ40s have the seal in the head.

Otherwise the profiles are the same, 182°@0.050 with 5mm lift at the cam both intake and exhaust.

The cam from a Carry has a different dizzy drive gear that isn't compatible.

Thanks for the info it must be a carry
as the drive gear is different I will change the dizzy as well.
