OK so doing a G16B transplant in my sons SJ80 Suzuki. It came out of an early Vitara with the 5 pin rocket looking air flow sensor. Guy lied and said it had 140 000km on it. Had to get a new head for it. Now timing is good. Dizzy is set to 1pm. Had a spark issue but thats sorted. The issue i have is that i have 12v running to injectors but no pulse. I have gone through the wiring redone all the earths from ECU. Someone has been in that wiring before me so...yeah. I found a wire coming from Pin A11 on the ECU that has been cut but i cant see where its supposed to be going. My pin out says thats not supposed to be there, When turning the car on i get full 12v on that brown and yellow wire. I have a sneaking suspicion that that might be the wire for the neutral switch on an automatic but my pin out says its supposed to be on A22 spot. That might be stopping the car from starting. Dont want to fry the ECU so any advise?

Have you checked for codes - put the diagnostic jumper in, switch the ignition on, check the CEL you should see it flash a code 12 (no fault found), any other code, track it down and fix it. Once you have only a code 12 crank the engine and without switching the ignition off, check the CEL, see if you have anything other than a 12.

If the ECU does not see "ignition feedback" it inhibits the injector drive to prevent flooding.
