G day Legends, Have a few issues with a Sierra I purchased last year for hunting. It has been fitted out with g16b motor and gearbox has under slung diffs and lockers. The rear diff has been modified to centre with the out put shaft of transfer so obviously axles have been shortened and resplined to suit housing. Problem I have is that it looks like original long axles have been shortened and resplined. Having lockers they are very soft and have twisted with the l,h shearing at diff. Can anyone tell me if there is anyone in Aus that can respline and shorten axles or supply custom chrome moly ones as no one seems to want to help out. i can purchase long field axles from states but would have to respline and shorten to suit modified length some where in Aus has anyone one got any constructive suggestions thanks in advance.

It might just be a diff from another 4wd, do you have any photos of it?

Sounds like a bit of a mess, maybe just put a vitara rear housing in it and regear the front axle to suit.

Actually, it probably already has vitara ring and pinions in it, so there would be no need to regear the front.
Can you post a picture of the rear axlehousing? We might be able to work out what's been done.
