new here
brought a 1992 vitara jx hardtop 1.6L about 6 months ago...got tired of all my money going to pay off a brand new ute and thus losing the ability to do anything with it or learn how to fix it if and when broken down out bush...so I upgraded the situation and my enjoyment in having a 4x4 by getting an older, cheaper more versitle one that can teach me how a car works and can be fixed
so far have replaced a front wheel hub n stub, upgraded the gear selector ring thing to brass, 5 new all terrain tires, added a small inline fuel filter, made a roof rack,got a proper phone mount and am currently in the process of making a rear door shelf, mounting a small lightbar on roof rack for reversing. I have everything I need to lift the motor up to reglue the oil sump seam, replace oil filter, replace brake fluid and flush radiator. Since ive gotta lift the motor a bit to get the sump done I also want to tend to the engine mounts as well...at least one bolt is missing so at minimum I need to know the specs of what bolts are needed if indeed they are just missing and not snapped off in there...Im also thinking that while im down there I should probably replace the rubber engine mounts as well, I went to autobarn today, aperently there are 4 but they could only find 2 on the system and they carnt get those 2 in anyway...
