Howdy y'all! I'm from the USA. Before you kick me out, please hear me out. I have a '87 Suzuki Samurai, and want to install a Holden Drover grill, and headlight assemblies into it. I found the grill brand new in Japan, and want to order one, however, the plastic headlight rings are discontinued. Does anybody on here happen to have any good pictures of what they look like? Or possibly have a set that they would be willing to sell, and ship overseas? Thanks!!

Also, here is a picture of my last build, an '86 Samurai, VW TDI swapped, frame stretched, cab chopped.

Headlight rings are steel. I believe the headlight area on a drover/NT front clip is different to a WT/Samurai, so there may be cutting/filing etc to fit them.
Can get better pics once the snow melts.

Thank you! I’m not opposed to some cutting. If you’re not using those, and chance you’d want to sell, and ship to the states?

As far as I know, the headlight insert and rings will be shared with the late gen 1 and gen 2 toyota pickup. They're definitely steel.

I'd be amazed if you found a genuine drover grille ex japan, but there was a rectangular headlamp version of the Jimny grille which is pretty similar. The drover grille was styled to suit the local GM facia used in the Holden Camira and Holden Commodore of the time. Post a photo! - I'm fascinated.

as you can see from the photos, the headlight cutout in the front guard is different, so you'll need to drill adjuster holes in the appropriate positions, perhaps using M5 nutserts.

Great info about the toyota pickup headlight rings! I'll keep an eye out for those.

I suppose you could be correct about the grill, but to me, it looks very similar to the Drover grill. Close enough, that I will use it, even if it is a little different. Here's a screenshot from the Megazip parts diagram.
