I didnt even think about the crank and there is no way a standard size piston ring would fit properly. And, i didnt know about the block even being aluminium, so wear rates would be higher for sure.
One thing that you need to know is that the G13 (as is the G16) blocks have Iron sleeves in the cylinders. This eliminates the fast wear found in pure aluminum blocks.
But it does limit the amount of boring that you can do in the cylinders. It is also possible that the sleeves can break loose under severe stress like the engine locking up due to lack of lubrication.
Oversized pistons are available, but only a complete disassembly by an engine rebuilder will determine if your engine is savable.
A used 1.3 engine - rebuilt or as-is - is pretty cheap (at least in the USA) and simple to install. It is also pretty inexpensive to swap in a G16 8 or 16 valve engine with an adapter and some wiring changeouts.
