Hey guys,
I am new on here just had 3" lift on my 03 Jimny and put some new tyres on, but next step is investing in snorkel and bull bar. Do you know of anyone on the central coast NSW or Sydney/newcastle region who fit these items if you buy them externally (e.g. from a wreckers)
Cheers

Work in Melb, not Central Coast, but, if you turned up to our shop with new, quality bits, in un-opened boxes, easy done & we would stick (most likely) to the manufacturers recommended fit times. If you turned up with s/hand &/or 'no-name' dubious quality stuff, we might knock the work back, or we might give you only an estimate & work on an hourly rate, which with a fairly inexpensive item like a snorkel, might cost you more than buying a decent (Safari = $330) thing in the first place. Issues are there will be bits missing - takes time to figure out what & source a replacement/s, as there will be no, or poor / inadequate instructions / templates.
If we sell new bits, consumer law says we have to stand by it as the retailer if you have issues. Then it is up to us to work out what the manufacturer / importer / wholesaler can offer us to make good. Obviously, we make a margin on new stuff, that in part, goes towards covering warranty liabilities. Stuff a customer supplies has a disclaimer on our invoice - all care, no responsibility.
Like vet 180 says, get a couple of mates over, measure 3 times, cut once & give it a go.
Rgs, Michael
