I picked up a cheap alloy bull bar today. I have some questions as I've never fitted one.
1. Can someone confirm the lights are indicators. I presume these are needed because the bar partially obscures the original ones. 2. What's the neatest and easiest way to hook them up? 3. What is a good product to clean it up with?

It will have a sticker - often on the top face, but might be on the inside of one of the wings. This sticker will state that it is SRS / Air bag compatible with an ADR number & will also say "Don't remove this sticker" The TJM alloy bar I have was identified as such - until I removed the sticker!. That bar is not the same though. Rgs, Michael

No sticker. It's an AMA brand. Brisbane manufacturer. I've contacted them to find out.

Easy is a no - completely (and I mean COMPLETELY) different - JB / JT is too wide, side returns too long, chassis non-existant. Given enough time & money, it could probably be butchered to fit acceptably, but then it would no longer be an SRS compatible bullbar, as there are no modifications allowed - especially to the mounting arrangements.
Current SRS compatible options are Uneek, with a 'bumper replacement' type bar & XROX with a 'comp' style tube ended + central hoop bar - both are winch compatible. TJM might still (??) do the bar I have (alloy, no winch) but not listed on their site
Rgs, Michael
