So everyone loves cool casting videos from ave and such. So i had a crack.
I made up my little foundry with a carbon crucible.
Just plane old map torch for heat.
I used a g13a distributor housing for the raw materials.
The result still needs finishing work and milling 3mm of its thickness. But very happy overall. The next one is a custom badge for my sj80 grill

what are you pouring the molten aluminum into, is it some sort of hi-temp silicone.

Not 100% but i do love his videos.
He has inspired me alot. Nearly enough to record all my stupid projects!
