Hey guys,
my tyre valve seem to be dropping pressure pretty quick (from 28psi to 9psi in less than a week)

What are a good type of valve to replace this crapy ones with?
and how easy is it to change them?

thanks

valve or valve stem? take it to a tyre shop and get them to do it or you will need a valve tool to replace the valve. or a valve puller to replace a valve stem as well as a bead breaker.

just an idea iv had the short atv valve stems fitted coz with the standard size valves, mud seems to tear out and put pressure on them. Bolt on metal ones solves the problem but if rocks hit them they break off. Iv got access to direct tyre supplies if enuf ppl are interested i can get some. I think they are about $2 each...

My 2c,

Would it be valves (how do you know it's the valves), or is it more likely to be a leak from dirt in the bead? Just go to a tyre shop and have your tyres checked over.

Reubs.

Are the valves tight in the stem, some people think it's funny to loosen them, check this first otherwise it may be dirt in the bead of the tyre if you've been wheeling.
