Hi all,
I just bought a 97 2L 16V Vitara SWB. Any pros and cons I should know about ?

I am planning to fit a 2" suspension lift, 2" body lift, 31"tyres and a snorkel.
I am thinking of upgrading the extractor and exhaust system but dont want to waste my money - is it worth it ? If so, can anyone suggest an extractor brand and also white size exhaust would work best please.

I would also like to get a bit more power out of the motor without compromising reliabillity - any suggestions ?

Looking forward to some tried and tested advice.

Cheers

I don't think it matters with the Dobinson kit, but, it's important to be aware that the 97 2.0 Vitara is an SV series - the wide track - and there are differences between them and the SE series - the 1.6 engined "narrow track" models.

I believe the Dobinson kit is springs, struts & shocks - if I'm right, the struts & shocks from an SE series kit will be the same as those for an SV, and the springs should fit, but might give you a tiny bit less lift because of the added weight of the 2.0 engine.
