I am thinking I might give this a go soon, but keen to see if anyone else has attempted before me?

I am referring to the arm rest on the door, I do a lot of gutter jumping and short trips on dirt/sand at full tire pressure in my daily travels and find I bash my elbow on the arm rest from time to time, it not too hard but as it's solid plastic if I do a few days in a row I will feel it. Even driving on the highway with the bouncy jimny the lack of padding can get uncomfortable. I am sure a simple foam insert would fix the issues?

It sure does add up over time and the more comfortable alternative of resting the arm on the window sill isn't always practical. Let us all know how you go!
