Hey all! just bought a new fuel level sender for my zook and was thinking about cleaning the fuel tank.

is there a certain type of cleaning agent i should or should not use?

I just dump fuel through it.. I wouldnt be keen to use any cleaning agent as such!!

If there is a drain plug on the bottom, open it up and let a few litres at a time pour out into a container and hopefully any gunk at the bottom of the tank will follow.

I normally remove tank add some washed blue metal (rocks), add some fuel and swirl it around heaps. Normally removes any loose scaley stuff.
