Revs does not directly equal fuel consumption (necessarily).
Just ask some of the Jimny drivers towing in 5th flat to the boards - they've often been getting better fuel consumption revving higher in 4th but able to maintain speed without WOT.

12.5 litres a hundred. This includes WOT highway driving towing my motor-sickle to an enduro race.
Not too bad. Edit: for the record I had it in 4th the whole way.

I remember a member on here used to get AMAZING economy out of his Jimny. I get 9.5-10l/100km out of my sierra. 235s and ungeared.

Nice! ^ Anyone know if balenos have a knock sensor?
SJ70 fibreglass roof Sierra. Weber 32/36 215/75r15 MTs Busted vacuum advance It's getting a consistent 16l per 100. Gotta get to the bottom of that, it actually runs quite well.
