It has probably been asked before, but search has found nothing for me on GV Body Lifts. (within Oz at least) I am looking to fit a 2" body lift to complimemt the calmini 2.5" suspension lift that will go in very soon!! But it seems Aussie 4x4 folks don't want to touch the subject!!!
So who has done it? who do you recommend and what is the difficulty rating of a body lift on a 99 GV?
Cheers
Dossy!!

The zook is off the road for a few months courtesy of a strut mount that has broken for the second time in 12 months. (no-one including the suspension provider can offer an explanation for that, but thats another story!!!)
But between the calmini lift and the body lift, I hope o have her back on the road by January. Sooner if possible. but if we have to pioneer some of this stuff, it is likely to take longer....

The GV lift is the same as the Vit with one major difference, the steering column is vastly different requiring a large spacer. Nathan had his cut and shut but says a 25mm extension is what's required.

Yes I have done it to my 99 GV so if you like, PM me and I'll go through it with you.
Check out "Humzuki" in Rigs of Auszookers.
Cheers Mate.

You can put a 1" body lift in it with no mods at all.
This is mine with 1" body lift, 2.5" Calmini, runnning 31" tyres (255/70 R16)
Or you could go this way

Hay RIKSTR, just looked through rig & couldn`t find this 1, am currently looking at calimini kit`s, for a sq625 there is 2 different kit`s, just wondering what year your gv is & if you can rember the part no of the kit??
Or if anyone else can ease my troubled mind , please do..
Steve

It was an 01, sold it a few years back and I can't remember what kit it had in it but I am fairly certain it was SK19800
