Hey all, Been building a fold down table for my Jimny made of plywood/marine carpet... Photos of the build below :)

Ended up costing ~ $90 and around 4-6 hours
$30 for carpet 2mx1m marine carpet
$30 for 1.2mx0.6m 9mm marine plywood
$30 in assorted screws, hinges and 150g spray on Kwik Grip Glue

and the finished product...

Overall very happy with how it has turned out, would have liked it to sit slightly more flush with the back door but this isn't really an issue in my mind.

Thanks! I also thought this but they have since grown on me and don't mind them so much now :)

Added some LED strips (3528 leds) to the back of the car and above the table, they seem to light up very nicely, just need to take the seats out/panel off the back so can run the wiring under the carpet to finish the job..

the thing i found was rigging the wire to the top of my table would put to much stress on to the table it self ultimately causing the table to ca-laps on it self

that's why i ran my wire through the structure of the door and then to the bottom of my table
in doing so i have spread the load evenly and taken load of my table it self
