howdy, since i started my build iv wanted more storage so i made a set of rear draws i guess u can call them. Attachment: edit 11.jpg since i knew i wasn't going to rush them i placed a rubber tray Mat in the back so i didn't completely ruin the rear with tools. that weekend i headed to bunning and purchased three sheets of chip board and a boxx of screw and some glue. this is where knowing people counts haha think that cost me all of 100 bucks and i put it down as a business expense . Attachment: edit 17.jpg then i started to fab it up after work, joy of being a tradie ... having every tool i could need including me haha Attachment: edit 25.jpg Attachment: edit 24.jpg once i had a base i decided how high i wanted it and decide that by using my tool box it gave me a easy way to remove and change it. Attachment: edit 22.jpg Attachment: edit 23.jpg once i had fixed it in place i started on the other area. i made up a draw and three boxes that sat between the tool box and the draw, then gave it a quick coat of paint Attachment: edit 35.jpg Attachment: edit 34.jpg after it was half built i found that the center boxes where the right size for jerries haha Attachment: edit 36.jpg after placing box back inside i found that it missed the closed rear door by mms and that it actually sat on a slope meaning that everything would slide towards the front, simple fix was to place a length of 70 by 45 on its side and bolt it down to the floor though the old holes used for the seats. Attachment: edit 37.jpg with that problem solved it was fixed in place with two Tex screw to stop it bouncing and it was left like that for a while. after a long time thinking i carpeted it and made it look all fancy

had to do another thread as it wouldn't allow more than ten images Attachment: edit 40.jpg now that its finished i put in place for the last time , i attached a fire extinguisher to the door and am planning to make a rear table. the esky is help down with blind tie downs that fold flat, the toll box holds all my gear like sand flags and recovery straps and bits and pieces like replacement bits and bobs. Attachment: edit 39.jpg Attachment: edit 31.jpg theres area down the sides for stuff then there is still the holes in the sides that are there for other shit basically and all behind the seats too. Attachment: edit 41.jpg and that is that all done but im still adding to it

haha most certainly mate, and on the weight i only used two of the three sheets, and fully made unpacked i could lift it so im guessing around the 30-40kgs as it wasn't a huge weight to lift.

Works well and I just used some lite chane to hold the jerries in place as a safety thing they are fairly snug though

Iv found its easier to like open them so they lose the pressure they have built up then they slide straight out : P

Hey mate,
Nice job, just wondering if theres any fumes etc from having the jerries inside with you? Building some for a mate in a pajero wagon soon and was wondering what to do with jerries.
