Have had the Autotechnica sterring wheel from my old falcon sitting in the shed for some time. decided to get a boss kit from Saas to fit it to the zook (99 non airbag model) Boss kit arrives, it fits but it is too bloody short!! Can't turn the steering wheel without the knuckles hitting the indicator stalk etc. So I bought a spacer of Ebay that claims to fit all boss kits and patterns..... WRONG!!! Has anybody else fitted sports wheels to non airbag GV's around 98 to 99 models? If so how did you overcome the problem of no gap between the wheel and stalks?

does the spacer match up with the wheel or the boss kit at all?

must be an oldish wheel as there is only a couple different bolt patterns from memory.
