pretty much, you can put a loom & good globes in the headlights keeping it legal or go HID in the headlights & spotties & run the chance of getting pinged for them.

Worst thing about light bars is they make your other lights seem so pathetic!

I've got the looms, and although I didn't get them from Royce (he didnt have any in stock at the time, I think he's making to order so I just got em of egay) for bout the same price, and they ar well well worth it. You can put higher Wattage globes in too. Cheers

I think the conversion to HID's is pretty cumbersome. Depends on your skill level too I guess.

if you do heap of open road miles... leave your spotties alone, do the loom & globe upgrade & just drop you lights back in stages as you'll have plenty of time to see oncoming traffic to drop you lights back early.
LED light bar + spots + highbeam
spots + highbeam
low beam

Do you have a recommendation for headlight bulbs with your looms Royce?

I fitted the loom upgrade from Royce recently and the differnce is remarkable. The loom is very professionally made and although you could might make this cheaper yourself you would not end up with a finished product that looked this neat and was as easy to fit unless you were an auto electrician I suggest. I also have the +50 globes but benefit from the loom upgrade was far more than the +50 upgrade. Also like the others say the +50 or +90 or + 120 don't last as long as the standard globes. In the fact the higher the number the shorter the life in my experience.
