Just putting a basic Pioneer stereo into the Jimny and my usual trick of using ground down crimp pins into the factory plug isn't working too well. Can't get them to the correct shape to make good contact. Outer pins are ok, its the speaker connections in the middle section.
So...
Is this plug the same as any other brand?
Do the late and early Jimnys use the same audio plug or did they change between the different series - Mk I/II/III?
Is there some better crimp terminals available that will do this job?

Went to Autobarn. I can't justify $30 times 2 for adapter cables. (Suzuki to ISO, ISO to Pioneer)

Or chop the stock plug off the old head unit and solder it to the one that comes with the new one.

Blakey. I won't 'stuff it up'. I've done many stereos and I have the wiring diagrams.

I might just buy a Suzuki 'universal' and just crimp join them. That unit should save me a bit.
