I am making a light set up on my roof for camping and i was just windering if any one has seen or come across a relay they can be activated wirelessly via a remote. Its more for when im laying in my swag and i want to turn the flood light off i dont have to get out of bed.
Thanks in advance.

i wouldnt run any lights through that, id use that to trigger a relay, and their 1000m range is just a little bit optimistic... but i've had that on my watch list on ebay for a while, same reason as you, intention of putting camp lights on my car that i can turn off once im in the tent/swag

12V, 10A - that's 120W - you could run LED work lights off of that with no trouble.

should be easy... positive terminal of battery to fuse, fuse to remote relay input, relay output to light bar, light bar to earth...

Just buy one of these

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/55W-HID-XENO ... 19d2c1be20

Then you can move it around by remote and do spoting. Especially if you have foxs/dingos coming into your campsite or if you mate brings a bitch camping you can spotlight her while she is taking a piss in the midlle of the night just to shit her off so she never comes again. Hopefully you dont see her backing out a darky though cause thats just nasty.
