G'day, thought I'd show you my sliders that i made for my coily. I followed a design off Low Range then added my own mountings.
My plan was to keep them nice and simple and follow the lines of my flares.

Hey mate sliders look good, I made a set for my girlfriends coily, mounts were similar, 10mm plate around the chassi, box design with tube outers bent on the jd2

One thing I would recommend is a gusset from the chassi mount down onto your outriggers like this

Nice man they're awesome! Rather good idea I'll have to make time this weekend to add them on. I tell you what i had a hell of a time trying to measure them correctly with the chassis all different.

Get rid of the sill plastic it traps shit and the sills rust out pretty quick
And its like welding a tin can to replace them

Rather late response, my design was to make them to project the car obviously but also my flares which is why i have them rather low, however i've yet to have a chance to test them so if they do restrict me I'll have to think again.

I completely agree terrible design there, it's been on the list for some time now I'll be getting onto when i get her back.
