Good question for anyone who wants a new clutch for a VVT Jimny.

Noticed many ebay adverts for 2000-2005 Jimny Clutch, but none for 2005 onwards. I assume they are referring to the change from M13A to M13AA with VVT,

Are the clutches the same between the two? I would have thought so, but I'm not brave enough to try it. ANyone know?

I believe they are different. Not sure what those differences are though.

Sadly I didn't pay close attention when I swapped gearbox to M13A. I used a new non Vvt clutch to be sure it worked but I wouldn't be surprised if they are interchangeable.
I still have the standard Vvt clutch on a shelf, if someone has a non Vvt clutch we could compare.
When I have the box out next I'll compare but won't be until next year.
