I am chancing a replacement gasket for my air filter nut. I know i can make something out of gasket goo, but want something a bit more solid and servicable. any ideas?

yeah though about those option. I notice that the original is kinda like gromet which fits into the metal section of the air intake, so it originally sealed on the top, middel on the saft and on the bottom). SO i was looking for something similiar
guess i could go to the local auto shop and go through their gromets, se i can find a real small flat one

go to a wrecker and find an old one with some rubber of it of an old car ( falcon or commonwhore from the late 70's early 80's) Then you will have a wing nut too
