I found this stuff called a docking block at Clark rubber, and thought hmm for only $20 I'll give it a crack. Overall it will be about 20-25mm longer but there are larger ones. I may just put a spacer at the base if required.

Start by removing the bumpstop from the car.
Measure the length and cut to size on a drop saw and with a wood cutting blade blade.

Flip it over, mark out the holes and drill.

Slide your old bumpstop inside it and line up the holes.

You will need longer bolts, line it up and install. You will have to remove the top screw of the shock to move it out of the way so you can do up one of the bolts.

All done. Almost standard looking.
