Hi folks.

I've just overhauled the Mikuni carby on my 1990 model G16a 8-valve Vitara.

I found the secondary (larger) throttle-or butterfly-valve is damaged so I need a good replacement. :(

For Identification purposes, it has what appears to be a square marked on it with the number "150" beside it. The primary has "80" stamped on it

If any of you good people has a carby lying around that you can sell me or even just the valve itself I would be very grateful. :D
I don't care what condition the carby is in so long as the valve is good.
Failing that idea, any suggestions as to where I might buy a valve would be appreciated.

You can email me at:

goldnomads@bigpond.com

I'm in country Victoria

Cheers

Rob

This mob is just around the corner from where I live. Australian dealer for Mikuni carbys in Townsville (i know, i was like WTF???)
If you need any leg work done, i can do it when i get home next in a few weeks. but they are pretty good blokes to deal with, my bike has mikuni carbs and ive had to get jets n stuff from them before.

Scales

Got a reply from Tom Hatrick at Mikunioz.
He told me that Suzuki own the design and tooling so he'd need to buy minimum 1000 valves. Not bloody likely!

I'll keep searching

Thanks again
