Keeping pressure hard for a while helps seat and seal the beads on newly fitted tyres. Less likely to roll a tyre off the rim after its had time to seat. Then let them down to correct pressur.
Just my theory, and what I do, can't back it up with any tech.

It was real bad at 43psi, I had to let some air out it felt like it was wandering all over the road and the steering was ultra Light, dropping the pressure down fixed that, just need to make sure the tyres don't touch the bumper when flexing

I guess pumping them up when parked could help, especially if its not driven very often. I think driving be more helpful. The bouncing and heat in tyres could help seat them. Last new set of mudders I got, the tyre place cleaned the rims up, and used some glue on the beads, never had a bead come off, but thats not really proof it worked. I'm sure somebody with tech knowledge and bigger words will have to chime in.

Haha proud as punch mate I would've changed them but then I'd have to pay someone actual money to do that and.... Well lets just say they're on a $400 dollar car. I give very little fuck for looks anyway.

Scrubbing on the front bumper normal with 215s? I've noticed that the mounts on the lower grey part are a bit bent and I'm going to straighten them out but not sure if it will completely solve the scrubbing
