hey all
what diff oil do ARB recommend for their airlocker in a zook???
does it matter what goes in there as long as its a diff/gearbox oil in terms of weight??

NFI, I just use 80W90.

I use Valvoline 80w90 in mine, because an odd 30 litres of it found it's way into my garage, otherwise I'd use Penrite. I have a nephew who's an apprentice at ARB. I'll ask him what they use, and I'll get back to you.

I've a feeling i read somewhere a while ago it was lsd oil,but I can't see it make much of a difference.

Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. I've just spent the last 48 hours trying to work out how to use my new laptop I think it may be a sign I'm getting old when I'm challenged by technology.
Anyhoo's, I asked the nephew yesterday what sort of oil they use at the ARB they are at when they put lockers in cars, and he reckons they use Penzoil 80w90 LSD oil.
