At the bottom of the gear stick. If you don't have one your gears will be possibly hard to change

yes it is very hard to change, just had new bearings put in the box and dont remember seeing one when we pulled it out...

Will get onto fixing that.

Wrong.
That one is the T/case bush. DON'T fit that to your gear stick.
The gear stick one is different. :wink:
I have stock of both :oops:

Looking at that again they both look the same.
The gearstick one should have 2 x 1/2 moon cuts outs.

I've had gearboxes that don't have a bush,
they just have a similar shape metal piece.
So yours may not have had one.
Most I've seen do need a bush, though.
And yours could have worn away and fallen into the oil.
