Hi guys yet another question for you!
I wish to install duel batteries into my Jimny to run ,winch, 6 spottie, fridge, air compressor, etc etc. the standard battery tray is rather tiny and I am wondering where the hell I could fit 2nd battery in engine bay along with Arb compressor as I really don't want to mount inside the car. Any ideas would be great and pics would be worth a thousand words if anyone has done this?
Battery type advice would help a lot as well as I am new to the 4wd scene!
Thanks fellas and ladies!

Check the search out dude, "jimny dual battery" works wonders heaps of examples in the rigs section.
heres mine
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=23684&hilit=dual+battery+tray

I would probably go a lower profile batt than what i used. but mine was free so yeah.

As for compressor, i went for internal mounting. I was worried about noise/heat etc, but im really happy with it. keeps it clean too and the noise isnt that bad.

What year model Jimny do you have. If it doesn't have the abs unit then a second battery can go passenger side against the firewall. I've seen people put the compressor on the passenger side behind the headlight.

you can also use the "monley washer bottle bracket" to make room for your compressor, would work well if you dont have the abs unit :)

If you can't make your own, then you can fit the Pirhana Battery tray
http://outdoorauto4x4.com/p/4584109/suzuki-jimny-dual-battery-tray.html

If you get the tray above, then the biggest(best) battery that fits (without spending stupid amounts of money) is this one is an Optima Yellow top D51 (or D51R if you prefer). It's only 41AH, but all the other specs for this battery are superb for a battery of this size. And it doesn't mind being run flat like a deep cycle, but can also be used as a starter or even to run a winch cause it also doesn't mind high current.

I had to modify the tie down bracket to hold this battery on the pirhana tray.

You can see why people make their own to fit a larger battery, because 41AH ain't that great.

You'll still have room for ARB compresspr behind passenger side headlamp.
