Yeah sorry, it will have a tyre carrier, and I'm getting the number plate put in the rim of the spare tyre.

Here's what I'm doing with my Mic bar at the moment, I'm making my own swing away arm. There where a few things I didn't like with the original Mic bar. No proper mounting for the number plates and the lights, can't fit a chunky 235, and a few other little things.

So far I've done every thing my self minus the welding which my bro is ab

thats awesome,
but are mic still making the rear bar? no listing on their website etc etc

fyi if that gerry has fuel in it, you will find its illegal as it protudes out further than the back bumper and panel, reason of this is a rear ender accident, fuel would be sprayed all over the crash scene.
most manufacturers state clearly that the gerry holder is for water or diesel only. no petroleum.

I'm pretty interested in a rear bar with swing away as well. Don't like the idea of having a 30" tyre bolted on the door for a long period of time.

That's nice. Yeah it's better design then the MIC swing away. The MIC rear bar itself though is like a million miles ahead of anything else I've ever seen, probably the best out of all the MIC stuff (and I've got just about all of it).

Joel,

Why don't you email MIC? They'll probably make you one if you ask for it.

MIC are still making the bar, but by order only, 5 to 6 weeks for delivery, and customise to suite.
