Did you guys manually specify the common words that are barred from searches? For instance searching for "jimny", in forum "I want stuff" and searching only topic titles only, displayed as topics would not be too processor intensive (particularly because searching topic titles only).
"The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: jimny. You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards."
Cheers

Just thought I'd recycle this thread to bring up another issue regarding the search function. Is it possible to have the + function stop the words from being ignored? For example I might be looking for a thread called "How to SPUA" Now I know this is the exact name of the thread, so I search +how +to +spua. Then I get this beauty, "ignored: how to" And maybe get an extra 11 pages of sifting to do. *This is just an example* But I hope what I'm trying to say makes sense, can't use google to do it for me as the crawlers haven't indexed the new page addresses. Just a thought, might be easy to implement, might be easier to tell me to stfu.

Boneheimer - if you know who made the post and what section it was in it'll narrow things right down... often its the only way to get a good search result. I also try to remember something else in the post other than the obvious, for example you referred to it as a "hack job" - so "hack spoa" posts by you would likely turn this thread up.
also, i just threw "SPOA SPUA" into the search in "suzuki tech" and that thread is the 5th one down.

Is it possible to add a 'Search thread title only' option? I always find that function very useful.
