It keeps saying i have 1 new message but when i click on it at the top of the page it says

You have 1 private message currently on hold because of full folder.
Release all on-hold messages… they will be re-sorted into the appropriate folder if enough space is made available.

Now i've cleared the inbox enough so there is plenty of space. but i just cant open it.

SO what do i have to do?

Do you see a "release on hold messages" somewhere?

If anyone works it out, post up the solution.

Mine works! I had a full inbox, so i deleted a message then clicked "release on hold messages" , then went back to my inbox and it was there...

changed, now if your inbox is full and you get a new message, it should just come in and make room by deleting old messages.
