it looks like it is never going to stop raining and i hate water
dripping on my feet so i made this possibly great device.

got a bit of alloy plate and drilled a few holes in it
Image
drilled a few holes in my car and put some nutserts in them
Image
put some sponge rubber on the alloy and used cap head bolts to attach it to the car.
Image
if it work's i will paint it to make it look flash.

but it cost me less then $10 to do it my way and i now have a shiny thing on the front of my car.
although the plackie bag would sort of work we don't get nancy rain like down south. it isn't unusual to get 100mm of rain in a hour, and it is best to keep it on the outside of your car.

what i would do is get some sprayable bitumen and just cover
every thing. jobs done. 8)

seriously though i wouldn't think that a new seal would cost to much
especially when the windscreen surround can be taken into a windscreen
place and worked on easily.

Don't want that shit growing inside your car!

My mum had an old subaru wagon that had grass growing in the passenger side floor...

spear grass can split radiators. it grows 3 or4 meters tall and can grow through roads.
