The main thing is to disconnect anything to the hub / brake assembly, you don't have to remove too much but as a minimum and to make things easy I remove the struts, tie rod end and move the brake caliper out of the way, enough for everything to swing away and jiggle the CV out of the hub.
The tricky and fun bit is using a strong screwdriver or small prybar to squeeze the CV away from the diff, be careful, it's easy to damage stuff especially the alloy diff.
It's a pain of a job but rewarding to know that you will save a couple of hundred bucks by DIY.
