Hey about to embark on a body swap between 2 LWB vitaras. Can anyone advise any tips or tricks for a trouble free swap. Picked up 2 vehicles. The better body is sitting on a bent chassis as it was front ended however the body from the firewall back appears sound. I also intend to work on the better chassis whilst everything is apart.

There is plenty of info on this site re the sierra but i have not been able to find any vitara info.

Also do the inner front guards detach from the firewall and where are the bolts if so.

vitara's dont run a front clip as such like the sierra's, the inner guards are attached to the body.

Thanks for the quick reply. So the inner is attatched to the firewall and unable to be removed? I assume then that if the inner guards are bent as a result of the front ender the body becomes a write off if the panel work on the inner is to major

The inner guard can be replaced. Any panel beater could do this job.
