Seems the 215's are harder and more exspensive then any other muddie. Gonna give the KL71's a crack.

Everything. From what I could find (after ringing two tyre shops) there was three options in a 215 muddie ranging from $230 to $320.

My 235/75/R15s fitted the guards no worries. I wouldn't go any smaller, I have zero lift and 4.16 rocklobster, it drive all the hard tracks around here...

How big is a 235/75r15 in inches? Just so I can wrap my head around it.

it's a remold tyre... based on a 235/75r15 with more than an inch of tread wrapped around it.
the link in my above post will convert all your metric tyres to imperial.

i've lost my tape measure, i cleaned the garage today & it's still MIA. there are pics in the insa turbo tyre thread... something 760 or 780mm from memory?
yeah they'll be bigger again, probably by about the same amount due to the depth of the tread.

One thing that site does not take into account is rim width.

it also doesn't account for manufactures making under or oversized tyres.

So then it's pretty useless other than giving a 'ballpark' measurement.

i never said it was perfect but i think it's better than converting trying to work it out in your head.

Not having a go at you, more just a warning for others not to take the measurement as gospel.

it's usually pretty safe as 98% of tyres are undersize from what is on the sidewall.

Still waiting on the Kum-ho's
What's the lowest pressure I could run a 215 on a 5.5" rim?

Did you end up getting these stockman? I'm interested, bobjane want $220 a tyre for them but may find them cheaper elsewhere. How do they go if you have them?

Thanks Scrawn.
10 psi is perfect, although I now miss the diff clearance.
Skinny 32's are on the cards.

Really good. Grippy, smooth, and suprisingly quiet.
