depending on what model & what sort of discount they're about $1100 each + about $300 for the larger compressor

Bugger haha. Still going with chinasoong but. A few people in big trucks haven't been able to kill them yet.

Last week ARB quoted me just under $3700 fitted for front and rear (although that was on a '03 GV).

Will these chinasoong's fit front and rear of an '03 GV ?

Nope, well I don't think so. Definatly no for the rear, in the same basket as me. For the front ARB has some note in the app chart about converting to a Vit 3rd member. I'd check out the ARB app chart if I were you.

Edit: actually I just looked and it's the same with your rear. I'd be checking with ARB exactly what they're planning on providing you for that quote. They may actually require you to get the front and rear third members from a vit. But either way, Soong don't make an RD79 that's needed for the rear.

http://www.arb.com.au/media/products/ai ... _chart.pdf

2 Grand Vitara/XL7 (to 2005) front requires conversion using RD208, Vitara/Sidekick third member assembly and free wheeling hubs.
3 Grand Vitara/XL7 (to 2005) rear requires conversion using Vitara/Sidekick third member assembly (& 26 spl axle shafts if required).
No application for current model (2005 on) Grand Vitara.

A few blokes have. Mnemonix's mate has some in his 75series and hasn't had any issues.
I haven't heard a single bad thing about them.
