If you continued the side of it with some 3mm steel plate you can use nutserts in 2 of the holes on the body to anchor it to. This is what I have done with mine and it protects the rear quater. If you need more Info I can post up pic's nad details. Later

That was my first idea. Then i cut one and put it on and it looked crap way to long for a wrap around. i am gonna paint the quarters black so they blend in a bit not too worried about it probably make another one after the calmini goes in and after i make some skid plates for it and after i make a front bar for it and after all the other jobs that i have to do for everyone else etc... so it'll probably stay on for along while.

Glad to see you have a plan, without a plan, shit just don't get done.
With a plan it may not get done on time but it is on the plan to get done.

That nutsert idea sounds great, mine is wrap around and there is a bit of flex in the design.
I brought a cheap nutsert and haven't tired it out yet.

i have the rear chassis with the plate on the back i picked up the top 3 bolts and the two on the face i was to lazy to make brackets from the tow bar mount. it was only ever meant to be a quick free rear bar. you can see the bottom 2 bolts in the pics.
