depends on what block he is starting with. the 13b engine has bigger bores so you would end up with less side loads on the pistions and rings.
i haven't done this stroker but have done a bit with v8's and have found that the engines are more drivable using a engine with longer rods. it makes more toque down low so you don't have to rev it as hard. using shorter rods you need to rev it more to make the same toque.
power is worked out from toque and revs and toque is what makes you move. you can have two engines making the same toque but different power if one is reving more to get the toque.
i'd rather have a engine i don't have to rev the sh t out of to drive.
not having a go just trying to put up a different idea.
