Hi All,

I Have a coily Running 30" Tyres, last weekend the old standard clutch had it last days off road.

I would like same advice on what other trucks are running, I would like to put a heavy duty clutch in if possible.

What is a good brand and where is the best place to purchase from? I have a coily too not sure if that limits my clutch options or not.

Cheers

Just get a standard Exedy, no real need for a HD IMO

New clutch and machined flywheel? Is the engine modified? I would've thought it would work ok....

it was about 15000km old she spun. gti clutch is nothing special but must have more clamping power. think about it its like 50% more power

Yeah but an Exedy standard clutch is miles ahead of the OEM clutch, so it should still work. I reccon you just don't know how to drive :thefinger:

My coily is also running 30's. I put an Exedy clutch into it when it's clutch wore out. If you haven't done it already, I would put a leafy transfer into it to fix your ratios. Takes a lot of load off the clutch and makes it also more driveable.
