Those 38l would be pretty expensive. A couple of gerry cans would be a lot cheaper.

yeah it's allot cheaper...

but have you tried to fit 2 jerry cans into a jimny after you have put all the basic stuff you need for a weekend away?

don't really want to put 40ltrs of fuel in the cab also. and the drive wont be very nice with it on the roof.

as long as they don't charge an arm and a leg....

i have gone away for 4 days in the sierra with 3 jerry cans in the back and all my camping gear. I even had space for a front passenger (just as ong as they were short) I had drawes for recovery gear and cooking gear, fridge ontop of drawes behing driver, 3xjerry cans behind passenger seat and dry/can food in bags stuffed in the gaps. Swag sat onto of fridge and jerry cans.

Years ago a jimny owner Robocop had a large tank built for his. New owner in melbourne was trying to sell it for awhile. A bodylift was needed thoe. Will see if he still has it if anyone insterested.

I just spoke to Kev at Brown davis. They are located in Melbourne. If there are any melbournites with a Jimny that they can afford to be without for 3 days, he will make the first tank at a reduced price. Buyers for tanks 2 & 3 may be required before he starts though.

The ball is in your court jimny owners

I asked. He has had no where near the interest from GV owners as he has from Jimny owners.

Shit tins. $1500-$1700 (supply only) for a JK aux tank. Everything for a JK is overpriced though  .

Interested in hearing about this. Investigating a long range tank for mine atm. Have 1000kms to drive each time I want to go to Brisbane. Don't fancy having to fill up every 300km and being worried about finding a petrol station at the right times.
