FYI,

I read a few threads on here about a replacement starter motor, the only one that comes up in the "books" is from a swift and also from some peoples recommendations here.
However, took the old starter in to get sized up and what they have come back with is a OEX model MXS811 which is actually made for a holden cruse. All dimesion are the same "so they tell me" I'll let you know if it fits tomorrow but wondered if anyone else has tried one of these before we spend another night swearing at it.

Note : The SWIFT one does not fit at all. Do not buy one for this model.

Year of make will help..

There is a few threads on sierra starters now, and what will fit including some mitsu lancers, as sierra starters are Mitsu branded, unlike swift starters which are denso or something else.

A holden cruz is actully a suzuki ignis, so its no suprizes that will fit

1993 Model, and yes the original one has a mitsu symbol on it.

Its based on... But there are many differences.
