Hey guys
Just wondering if anybody has bought either mickey Thompson, eagle, or pro comp alloy rims for a Suzuki Sierra.
What was your postage to your door.
I'm after the 15x8 Mickey Thompson classic 2 or procomp series 88 rims.
Sean from low range quoted me for classic 2 around 200 a rim posted to my door.
Rims are $94 each so that's $294 each to my door.
Has any one got quote for the pro comp rock crawler series 88 rims.
Pro comp hasn't got back to me yet
Has any one bought these rims from aus or some other place in the states for a better deal then $294 a rim.
Thanks

A club member here in Vic landed KMC enduro [u]beadlocks[u] new, from the US for $350 a wheel, and I picked up Walker evans beadlocks second hand for the same price locally.
I don't think I'd be bothering at $300 a rim for steel rims or non beadlocked alloys.
That's a lot to pay for something based on looks - there's nothing special about either rim.
Steve.

ask fourbys - they get procomp in.
procomp USA are useless though - i ordered my 15x7 -38's and it took them 6 months to deliver to QLD - and procomp AU are just as bad in not following them up etc. unfortunatley australia is low on the radar in the USA's eyes.

I cant have beadlocks
I want some thing different to every one, and looks good
Don't want any thing that looks like king rims or sunnies
Some thing that will look good with bfg km2
That's why I thought about the classic 2 or procomp rims

custom rims - the centers are "chev rally" rims - found on the camaro etc.
total cost worked out to be $148/rim - however the bands and centers were brand new, once done they were sandblasted, primed and powdercoated nice and thick.
brand new procomp series 52 from fourbys were $115ea.

Very nice Alien. Where did you get them?
Edit: So, they were new from Procomp, but you had them re-welded to your required offset, then painted?

Call the Australian distributors on the pro comp website.
I know we don't have any in stock at the moment, but if you can pm me exactly what pro comp rim (size, offset) your chasing, I might be able to help you out.

Don't need them until a month or two
Got some things to do until I can get the tyres and rims
I'll get back to you when I'm ready
Just trying to sort some cost out now so I have time to save

those are custom made by a guy in perth... summerfield engineering. Powdercoating was done locally by another place.
i've got the procomp as well... i got series 52 in 15x7 -38 (same specs as the ones i had custom made, but look more like a sunny).

I want a set that look like these, I've seen pics of that yellow zook on here that had ones like them.
http://img1.classistatic.com/cps/kj/101 ... d6_20.jpeg
My old man has a set in holden pattern but they are 14/8 and I don't think the pattern is the same, I haven't tried them though.

Hell yeah, thanks lads, I knew they were cheviots but couldn't find any info searching for cheviot. I'll go searching for ROH Hurricanes now!
I reckon they look the business, that and I have fond memories of polishing up dad's set with emery paper and toothbrushes as a young bloke!

Can't find the ROH Hurricanes online anywhere, any more info?

i like both =) the chev ones (pictured directly above) have really grown on me.. the procomps just look like any other 4wd rim really... kind of a cross between the standard zuk rim with round holes and a sunny.
