Hey,
When I go around corners or over bumps (as I do a lot) my door lights go on and off. It's like a freaking disco. So I lock all the doors and it still happens. Now usually when a door is not shut proply and I lock it, you can bash it in from the outside and it unlocks - but this doesn't happen in this case. I can hear a bit of a jiggle when driving, but that could be anything in my car. I hear no air so if it's a problem with the frame then it's not huge.
You recon it's a faulty door or faulty light? The light I can deal with but the door could be an issue, especially if it opens randomly.
Also, if it is the door, if I keep it locked is there anyway it will just pop open going around a corner?
Thanks.

Check the button inside the door jam at the hinge end... I think that's where it'll be. It might not be mounted 100% tight if the door light is acting random.

If the door isn't locking properly someone else will have to chip in on that

Does the back door turn a light on? if it does see if you can pop that switch out and unplug it (dont let the wire fall back in the hole) and go for a drive

Otherwise stick a wad of blutac over it to put more pressure on and test, its common on 4wd's for the back door to move about quite a bitwhich makes the light come on, ask a GU owner about flickering lights off road :)

If you can feel all the doors closing firmly with 2 latch clicks you have no fear of one popping open, locked or not as the latch is designed to catch the oor if it pops through the first latch

Got sick of that happening in my Vit,
especially as I have a super bright LED interior light.
I just flicked the switch on the light to off.
And when I want a light, switch it on manually.
But I may fix it properely one bored unbusy day
