After putting a body lift in the Sierra, I've noticed that the flexible tubing between the airbox and the carby is at a pretty severe angle, and the tubing has flattened out a bit. I'm assuming that this will be restricting airflow quite a bit.
How has everyone else sorted out this problem?

last thread about this the common fix was a piece of tube the diameter of the top of the carby and same thickness as the bodylift between the carb and hat, with a longer bolt on there to hold it down

Cheers Royce, that was pretty much what we came up with, but didn't measure to see if there will be any clearance issues between the hat and bonnet, does anyone know if there will be?

bodylift means your bonnet is further away from your engine now by the same amount you are spacing it up
